Okambara Lodge is perfectly suitable for families traveling in Namibia. It never gets boring here as guests can enjoy activities including game drives, hiking trails, cat feeding and more.
Family-owned
The lodge and farms are managed by the Schmitt family who has been living in Namibia since 1990. We fluently speak German, English, and Afrikaans, which is a local language that originated from dutch.
Get close to nature
Enjoy the unique Namibian nature in tranquility, whether by foot or on a guided tour with one of our safari vehicles. Located in the heart of Namibia, the Okambara lodge features over 15,000 hectares of farmlands consisting of mountains and Savannah-bushlands.
Our wildlife
Elephants, Oryx, Waterbuck, Giraffes, Black-wildebeest, Roan, Impala, Jackal, Caracal, and other wildlife can be spotted on our farm.
If you’re lucky, you’ll even see leopards or cheetahs on safari.
